We were proud to be back - sponsoring, exhibiting and presenting - for our second year on the Microsoft Partner Pavilion at The Emergency Tech Show, Europe’s leading annual event for emergency tech professionals seeking crucial solutions to revolutionise response and accelerate the digital journey. It was great to connect with so many teams across policing, NHS, ambulance, and beyond, as well as partners and vendors shaping the future of blue light technology.

Standing‑room only: next‑gen policing with Low-code, automation and AI
Our speaking slot - “An Assistant Chief Officer’s View: The Power of Low-Code, Automation & AI in Next‑Gen Policing” - drew a fantastic crowd. Assistant Chief Officer Dougie Henderson of Greater Manchester Police shared candid insights into the force’s journey with Robiquity and Microsoft Power Platform. We explored how blending Low-Code, automation and AI is helping address high‑impact areas such as fraud and probation, and we demoed the Vulnerability Triage Hub, currently in development, with forecasted annual savings of £2.46m. ACO Henderson’s closing message landed powerfully: the only thing that can hold back transformation is a lack of imagination.

Real‑world impact: reducing violence against women and girls
We also attended “Halving violence against women and girls in 10 years needs tech as an enabler,” with Joy Allen, Police and Crime Commissioner for Durham Constabulary, and Detective Inspector Andy Phillips. DI Phillips referenced our work together on Clare’s Law and Sarah’s Law, explaining that although submissions increased by 80% this year, Durham managed the demand without additional headcount - enabled by case management systems we built on Microsoft Power Platform.
AI was everywhere - but benefits governance matters
AI dominated the show floor and the theatre sessions. The opportunity for blue light services is huge, but as ACO Henderson emphasised, commerciality and a clear benefits realisation strategy are essential. Defining “what good looks like,” and putting the right governance in place, will be critical to maximising returns from AI, automation and analytics at scale.
Once again, there were lots of dogs (search, rescue and therapy), both robotic and real. And once again, we loved it.
So, what’s next?
For our part, we’ll keep doing what we do best: pairing real‑world problems with robust, governed solutions and scaling what works.
Thank you to everyone who joined our session with Greater Manchester Police and came by the stand. If you’d like a deeper dive or a bespoke walk‑through:

See you next year. Until then, let’s keep centring around key value drivers (e.g. cashable savings or efficiencies) or problem statements, maintain an open mindset, use some imagination, some bravery and transform services that make a real difference.
